SD State Historical Society Press Is Blogging

The South Dakota State Historical Society Press, which published Pamela Smith Hill‘s excellent biography of Laura, Laura Ingalls Wilder: A Writer’s Life, has a blog. Check out the post from today that links to a stellar review in Roundup Magazine of Hill’s book.

Subscribers to the Homesteader remember that she was interviewed in the most recent issue, Winter 2007-2008. I found her simply lovely to talk to. Her grasp on the complexities and nuances of Laura’s life as a writer was first-rate.

I love when a book about Laura makes me think about her in a new way. It’s like a gift.
